Bright and simple. Let’s Celebrate! is spelled in puffy crepe-paper letters, each a different color, with tissue honeycomb balloons in pink, blue, yellow and red bunched in the top corners and streamers and round confetti falling down the sides onto cream paper. No theme, so it goes with any party.
Ella turns six in rounded raspberry script carries the card; Cake, games and birthday fun sits above, the date and the Johnsons’ home below in plain dark gray. Put your own name and age in; the first line is the one to rewrite: “Pizza and a movie”, “Bowling and cake” or “Swim party” tells guests what they are coming to.
Any age from three to ten, for the party that is just a party: friends, cake, games in the yard. A balloon pop with prizes inside, a confetti cannon for the candle moment, a streamer curtain for photos and a funfetti cake. Two weeks is enough.
