The box is cream and rose gold with a pearl clasp and paper flowers around it, and the inside of the round lid carries Let’s Twirl and Celebrate in gold script with two little music notes.
Nora is turning 4 in deep raspberry, then April 18, 1 to 3 PM and The Little Dance Studio in plum capitals, all inside the lid where a mirror would be. Type in your dancer’s name and age. A line under the name suits a recital theme: “Tutu cute to be four” (or two, which is the pun everyone waits for), “On pointe at five” and “Twirl into six”.
Three to seven. A tutu for every guest, a ribbon-wand craft, a tiny recital at the end and a round pink cake with a sugar ballerina on top. Three weeks’ notice; dance-class friends have busy Saturdays.
