A banner, a blanket and a cake in the grass. Meet Me in the Sunshine is painted across a cream banner strung between the trees, a picnic is laid out below with flowers, cushions and a cake, and the name is written in a green script that matches the lawn. It is a daytime twenty-first for friends who would rather be outside.
Pick a park with shade, bring low tables and cushions, a cooler, a fruit and cheese spread, lemonade in jars, a bouquet or two and a cake in a box. Ask everyone to bring a blanket and wear something floral, and plan a group photo under the banner.
Enter the name, the date and the park, and send it. A graduation picnic, a bridal shower or a spring birthday at any age would use it just as well.
