This is a late-summer party by the water after dark: floating lights in the pool, string lights overhead, towels rolled in the party colors, a DJ or a long playlist, late-night pizza and a glow-stick dance floor by the deep end. A backyard pool at night does the job if there is no rooftop nearby.
