Lace up your skates. This invitation is a roller rink under colored lights: a polished floor, white skates with pink wheels, a purple cake on the party table and a silver balloon 18 by the rail. The name is written in a glossy lavender script, bright as the rink lights.
A rink party is an eighteenth with built-in entertainment. Book the party room, let the rink handle skate rental and the music, bring the cake and a tray of pizza for the break. Guests who do not skate sit by the rail and still have a good time. Ask the rink about a spotlight song for the birthday skater.
Fill in the name, the date and the rink, and send it. The card also works for a thirteenth, a sweet sixteen or a throwback skate night.
