Roll out the red carpet, because tonight she is the main event. A pale gold glitter 18 stands at the top of a red carpet lined with lights, velvet ropes and lit columns, and the name is written below in tall script capitals that pick up the gold.
This is the invitation for an awards-night birthday: a step-and-repeat backdrop for photos, a real red carpet runner at the front door, gold balloons, a playlist of movie themes and a trophy for the birthday girl. Guests dress like nominees and arrive with a pose ready. Hand out printed programs at the door for the full effect.
Add the name, the date and the venue, and it is ready for the group chat. A sweet sixteen, a graduation party or any night that deserves flashbulbs can borrow it too.
