Nothing says summer birthday like a pool. On this invitation a coral balloon 18 floats above turquoise water, striped umbrellas and palm trees frame the scene, and the name is written in gold across the shallow end. It looks like the party has already started.
Plan it for an afternoon: floats, a speaker by the water, a cooler of sodas and fruit, towels in the party colors and a taco bar or pizza delivery when everyone gets hungry. Tell guests to bring a swimsuit and a change of clothes, and the invitation does the rest. Sunscreen goes in the favor bags.
Add the name, pick the date and time, name the pool, and it is done. The same card works for any summer birthday from thirteen up, and for a last-day-of-school pool party too.
